" Red" Walters, 90, of Easton, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2013 at his home. Born: March 24, 1923, in Easton, he was a son of the late Stewart and Florence Smith Walters. Personal: He retired in the early 1990's as co-owner and operator of Phillipsburg Electronics. Previously he was employed by Bell & Howell for over 20 years. Red graduated from Easton High School Class of 1941. He graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point. He served with the Merchant Marines during WWII. Red enjoyed woodworking, playing the harmonica, barbershop quartets, riding his motorcycle and traveling. Memberships: He was a life member of Order of Fleas. Survivors: Three daughters, Colleen DeCourval, of Easton, Suzanne VanEmburgh and her husband George, of Forks Township and Tammy Klobedans and her husband David, of Boerne, TX; a son, Christopher E. Walters, of Bethlehem; seven grandchildren, B.J. Green, Krista Allshouse and her husband Matt, Jamie and Ian VanEmburgh, Casey and Joshua Klobedans and Sammy Walters; and three great-grandchildren.
