Born in Alpha, N.J. he was a son of the late Charles and Esther (Serfoto) Phillips.
He was a Presbyterian. He was an Army veteran of World War II, having served in European Theatre.
Survivors: Wife, sons Louis F. Jr., of Easton, George C. of Plamer Township and James A. of Fountain Hill; daughters, Blanche L. Frankenfield of Phillipsburg and Luann E. Jones of Easton; sister, Betty Mannick of Bangor, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. |
