She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Janice Conover. Services: Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service at 10 a.m. on Wednesday December 22, 2010, in the Salvation Army, 521 Pembroke Rd, Bethlehem, where friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of services. After retirement he was employed by Walmart and Moyer Lumber. He served as a Sgt. with the Army during World War II. Russell enjoyed playing bingo, music and reading. Memberships: He was a soldier in the Salvation Army, Bethlehem, where he was a bell ringer at Christmas. He was a life member of AmVets, Order of Fleas and Brown & Lynch American Legion Post 9. Survivors: two sons, Russell A. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, serving with the Seabees.
Survivors: Wife; daughters, Susan, wife of Stephen Waye of New Richmond, Ind., and Sandra, wife of Thomas Piatt of Palmer Township; son, George J. of Apache Junction, Ariz.; brother Russell of Easton and six grandchildren.
