The monies were not paid by the date set by the Court, so the Sheriff, Daniel Raub, was commanded to sell at public vendue, on 16 Aug 1819, a certain tract, situate in Lower Mount Bethel Township bounded by land of Tobias Sterner, Daniel Gruber, John Neilson, Daniel Wagener, and John Connelly containing sixty three Acres and seventy five perches, being part of the premises in the said Writ. The parcel was sold for the sum of $300 to James Ross, he being the highest and best bidder and that being the best price bidden for same. |
