Smith, of Middletown, died Saturday at the Newport Hospital. She was 63 years old and had been in poor health several years, although at the Hospital only a short time. Mrs. Smith was a native of Middletown, a daughter of the late George A. and Elizabeth Brown. She was a member of the Middletown Methodist Episcopal Church and prominent in its activities as long as her health permitted. She is survived by three brothers, Messrs. Philip A. and William L. Brown of Middletown and Arthur W. Brown of Providence, and a sister, Miss Sarah W. A. Brown of Middletown.
