Margaret Holly was the oldest daughter of Newman Alexander Holly and Annie Guernsey. She never married, and lived all her life in Port Chester, in her father's house, which became hers on his death. She was very talented, musically, and as a seamstress. She worked for the Lifesaver Company as a bookkeeper.
