Listed between "John, of Tobias" and Nicholas (also a son of Tobias). Rebeckah is listed on William's Findagrave entry as one of his three wives. Two children are listed to William and Rebeckah in the Portsmouth Vital Records, p. 61 (see attached): Hannah 23 Jun 1735 Caleb 6 Nov 1736 Then next on Arnold's list, there are two listings that only mention Rebeckah: Thomas, of Rebeckah, June 10, 1741, d. Sept. 22, 1743 Chase Godfrey Cornell, of Rebeckah, 7 Nov 1746. If this is the same Rebeckah, there is a conflict because William, son of Tobias, married Judith Palmer in 1742. Further research needed.2,3 |
