A graduate of St. Luke's School of Nursing, Philadelphia, she was a community nurse in Whitehall Township and surrounding areas for 24 years, retiring in 1968.

Born in Easton, she was a daughter of the late Albert C. and Goldie I. (Hineline) Behr. She was a member of Evangelical Lutheran Church of the Hold Trinity, Northampton.

Survivors: Daughter Patricia, wife of Lawrence Post of Sacramento, Calif; son Harold E. Jr. of Vienna, Md;, half brother Robert Behr of Bethlehem; half sister Elizabeth, wife of William Agocs of Allentown; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Lowery of Shenandoah has engaged fifteen Negro men and women for his show this season. Next week they will begin rehearsals for three days at the opera house in Ringtown where the season will be opened. Lowery and Jenkins will also perform their black fact specialties. The program will open with a picnic session and be followed by an olio after which there will be choruses and a cake walk.

George B. Lowery's Big City Minstrels appeared at Fergusen's theatre last evening and were greeted by a large audience, which left the theatre well pleased with the evening's program. George B. Lowery and John D. Jenkins were the "big end men," and were supported by M. R. Burke and M. Silvester with the tambos and John Shelly and Thomas Marshall handling the bones. The conversationalist was Charles Stutzman, who has repeatedly appeared her in Minstrelsy. The olio was very creditable, including such artists as Grant, the human fly; Willie St. Eleno, the contortionist; the three Shelleys, comedians; and the Bros. Grant, the acrobats. Mr. Lowery's show compares favorably with that class of theatricals.

His leg was broken above the knee and he was immediately removed to his home by John Kearney, who happened on the scene with his carriage.

Teorge B. Lowery, one of the best known residents of town, died at 10 o'clock this morning at his home in Turkey Run, following a long illness of a complication of diseases.

He resided at Turkey Run almost his entire life. He was owner and manager of Lowery Bros. circus and toured various parts of the state with a tent show and was well known in theatrical circles.

Mr. Lowery was a member of Aerie No. 103, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and General Harrison Lodge, No. 251, Knights of Pythias.

He is survived by his widow, two sisters, Mrs. Patrick Kearns and Mrs. Joseph Campbell, and two brothers, Thomas and William Lowery.

Burial was made in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.

The pall bearers were William Eagan, John Rogert, Jr., William Tempest, William Amour, Harry Hart, Jr., and Harry Keithan.
