Many years ago, Mrs. Grube and her husband operated a produce stand in Centre Square, Easton.
Born in Morristown, N. J., she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Moser.
She was a member of Christ Evangelical (Blue) Church, Williams Township.
Surviving are two sons, Walter W. and Donald L., both of Milford, N.J., two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy E. Torquati, with whom she resided, and Mrs. Leona Pierson of Milford R.D.; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Hoover of Easton R.4; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the Robert W. Snyder Funeral Home, 327 Easton Road, Riegelsville. Calling hours will be 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. |

Pierson, 90, formerly of Milford, NJ, passed away on April 19, 2017, at Gracedale in Nazareth, PA. Born Aug. 17, 1926, in Williams Township, PA, Mrs. Pierson was the daughter of the late Wallace Grube and Nellie Moser Grube. She was predeceased by her husband, the late Walter A. Pierson, who passed in 1998.
Mrs. Pierson was employed at Mack Printing in Wilson Borough, working in the bindery department for 24 years before retiring in 1998. She loved trips to the casino and shopping.
Leona is survived by her sons, Walter M. "Mickey" Pierson of Phillipsburg, NJ, and Brian S. Pierson of Plainfield Township, PA; grandchildren are Leslie N. Surgent, Walter Michael Pierson Jr., and Patrick S. Pierson. Also surviving is a brother, Donald Grube, of Milford, NJ. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Pierson was also predeceased by two sisters and one brother.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Finegan Funeral Home at 302 Heckman Street in Phillipsburg, with a calling hour being held from 3 to 4 p.m., also at the funeral home. The interment will be private. |

He was born August 18, 1892 in Scranton, Pa, and attended schools in Scranton. He was married to Louise Steppenback Evans in 1936 in Utica. Mrs. Moser died in 1948. Mr. Moser was employed as an engineer at the Mutual Box Board Co., for many years, retiring in 1960. He attended Zion Lutheran Church.
He is survived by one son, Robert H. Evans and three grandchildren of Utica."
