Mrs. Caroline Shook, aged severty-nine years, wife of John Shook. of Bushkill township, died at 5:30 o'clock, Sunday afternoon after an illness, of a complication of ailments. The deceased is survived by her husband, five children -- Mrs. John Fritts, of Freemansburg; Mrs. Titus Miller, of Bushkill township; Mrs. Peter Frantz, of Ackermanville, Alvin Frantz, of Plainfield township, and Robert Frantz, of South Bethlehem.
Burial17 November 1910She was buried on 17 November 1910 at Plainfield Cemetery in Plainfield Township, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.1

[Note: there is a Milton Henry Miller, 1875 - 1944, lived in Ackermanville, born Edelmans, son of Martin and Lydia (Ackerman) Miller. "well-known" resident. I wonder if this informant is the same person, and if so, were they related?]

Little, died yesterday in Palo Alto, Calif., where she had lived four years. Her husband, who died in 1940, was secretary of the Rutherford Chamber of Commerce, and secretary of the Y.M. C.A. Mrs. Little had been active in church work at the Methodist Church, Rutherford. They had lived at 11 Wheaton Place, Rutherford. Survivors include a daughter, Miss Annabel Little, and a son, William A. Little, Jr.

Funeral Notice on 10 Nov in the same paper: Little, Florence L., at Palo Alto, California, on November 7, 1947, wife of the late William A. Little and beloved mother of William A., Jr., and Grace Annabel.
