A native of Providence, Mrs. Seabury had resided in New York many years. She was a past president of the Engineering Women's Club and a director of the Little Gardens Club in the Washington Square area of New York. A daughter, Mrs. Medley P. Ray of New York, and a brother, Dexter Knight of Providence, survive.
Burial services will be held at Swan Point cemetery in Providence at 4:15 PM Saturday. |

Ray, 65, who retired in 1971, had been with Con Ed since 1959. He held a degree in electrical engineering from the University of Maine and had served as president of the Edison Engineering Society.
Ray had been active in a number of glee clubs in the New York area. An accomplished musician, he played the trombone, piano and baritone horn.
In addition to his wife, Mary Seabury, he is survived by a daughter, Margaret Ray Herring, of Port Washington, and three grandchildren.
