Holly, a lifelong resident of Greenwich, died at her home 4 Lafayette Court, Monday. She was the widow of Fred E. Holly, superintendent of mails in the Greenwich Post Office. Mrs. Holly was born in Greenwich, the daughter of the late John and Nellie Howard Lockhart of Greenwich. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Arthur P. Terrill of Greenwich and two brothers, John W. Lockhart, of Cos Cob, and Joseph Lockhart of New York City. Funeral services will be private from the Fred D. Knapp Funeral Home, 267 Greenwich Ave. No time was given for the funeral service. The Rev. C. Gordon Beale will conduct the services. Burial will be in Putnam Cemetery.7 |

"William Hallenbeck died yesterday afternoon after a brief illness at 85 Glendale Place, Port Chester, where he resided with his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold B. Tilley. He was eighty-six years old. Born in Hudson, N.Y., the son of the late Jonas and Clara Hallenbeck, he came to Port Chester 65 years ago and during most of the time was employed by the Ernest Simons Mfg. Co. of Port Chester. He was head of the shipping department when he retired some years ago. His wife was the late Cora Lockwood of Port Chester. Mr. Hallenbeck was a member of the North Baptist Church, a well known fraternalist, and a former member of the Reliance Engine and Hose Company.
